Jael was my deepest writing challenge to date. I prayed my way through every word, sentence, and paragraph. I had to put a face on Jael, give her an identity, a story line, and all of it had to line up with the Word of God.
Jael is little more than a few sentences in the Holy Bible and little history exist from these dark, dark, ages. But thanks to the Holy Spirit I was able to complete the book.
Jael is for women everywhere, those in the church and those who aren’t. Pastor Warren said it best in the Purpose Driven Life, “it is not about us but what we do for God”. What Jael did she did for God, hence the title of the book is “What Jael Did”.
I hope you find an opportunity to read and experience Jael. Pray with her, cry with her, dance with her, and learn to love her as much as I do.
